Delete your 108 Moments account and data

You can delete your 108 Moments account and everything stored with it at any time. There are two ways, and both delete the same things.
In the app
- Open 108 Moments.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when it asks “Are you sure?”
It happens immediately. You'll land back at the start of the app, as a new person would.
By email — including if you've already uninstalled the app
from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We'll delete it and confirm when it's done — always within one month of your request, and normally within a few days.
If you never made an account, there is nothing on our servers to delete: your practice only ever lived on your phone, and deleting the app removes it.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account erases all of it:
- your account and the email address on it;
- your practice history — practices served, bead counts and the days you practiced;
- your well-being check-ins, including every score and answer;
- your saved days, your chimes, and your settings;
- everything stored on the phone itself.
You start over from day one. This can't be undone — there is no restore, and support cannot recover a deleted account. If you want to keep a record of your practice, take what you need before you delete.
What we keep, and for how long
Your data is removed from our live systems immediately. Encrypted backups of our database are kept for disaster recovery and roll over on our hosting provider's standard schedule; your data ages out with them, and a backup is never read or used for anything else in the meantime.
We keep a minimal record that a deletion request was made and when — no practice data, just the fact of the request — because we're required to be able to show that we acted on it.
Other rights
